FastNET Technology Resources Zone derives its name from the FastNET Rock located some 11 miles off the South Coast of Cork in Ireland. It is the most Southerly and Westerly place in Ireland and is the turning point for the FastNET Yacht Race which takes place every two years and starts at Cowes in the Isle of Wight, England.
